Save Yuan Keqin
This is an urgent appeal for the return of Dr. Yuan Keqin (former professor at the Hokkaido University of Education). He has been missing since he went to China to attend his mother's funeral in June 2019. We now have confirmation that he is being detained by the Chinese authorities. His friends and family only wish for his safe and immediate return.

Dr. Yuan Keqin's family has created video clips that explain the events leading up to his detention and his current situation. Prof. Yuan's family and his lawyer still have not been able to visit with Prof. Yuan, even though the Chinese law stipulates that a "suspect" is entitled to visitation rights see his family and consult with his lawyer.
